Exercise & Art Walk Off The Pounds

Anytime you adopt a new habit it takes convincing. Like exercising for instance, we know it's good for us, but why is it so hard to stick to? It's one of those delayed joys, at first it's hard to put on the shoes and go outside for a run, but once it's over you're glad you did it.

That's how I feel about Art Walks. At the end of the day I'm tired from work and ready to relax. The last thing on my mind is getting up and going somewhere. Although when I make the plans, meet the friends and spend an evening outside relaxing, drinking and enjoying company I've made a memory, isn't that what life is about anyway?

So I don't care what it takes, make a date with yourself and your friends to attend the Art Walk in Hillsboro Village on Thursday from 5-8. Join the crowds of dog walkers and runners and make your way through the art for a completely sensory experience. You'll be glad you did.

For more info about the local artists, music and prizes visit their facebook page: Hillsboro Village Events.

Don't forget this Saturday is the Downtown Gallery Crawl and it's going to be insane! Put on your mixed matched clothing and join all the other hipsters for a great night out in Nashville.
