Last night I previewed the
Nashville Opera's production of
Carmen and it pretty much convinced me that I should join a group of smugglers and become an opera singing gypsy. Seriously the opera was incredible! The set, costumes, lighting, singing and acting took my breath away!
So needless to say I'm thrilled to partner with the Nashville Opera to do what I to do best, paint! I will be painting live in the
TPAC Lobby on
Thursday, April 14th and Saturday, April 16th from 5:30 - 9:00 with local live painter,
Laura Amstutz.
I will be painting a 24x30 mixed media Carmen inspired piece each night and they will both be available to purchase by silent auction. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the opera, so it's going to be a great night for everyone!
I hope to see you at the show, but until then please enjoy these Carmen inspired products from Etsy.com!
